Multi-Saw Edger
The multi-saw thin kerf edger is essential for the processing of cants from primary log breakdown into quality lumber products. Normally, saws are mounted in clusters on a single shaft and have lubricated guides for thin kerf operation for cant thickness to 6”. Thicker cants to 10” utilize a double arbor arrangement of saws. The multi-saw edger is capable of form following curve sawing of four sided cants and can operate at feed rates to 600 fpm in line with primary log breakdown.
